Fort St. James and our settler & 5 Nations neighbours in the Omineca region have cooperated and combined talents, knowledge, skills and efforts since 1806. Together, we have faced extreme climate challenges, food insecurity, and more, developing a resilient foundation for our residents.

Faced with 21st Century challenges in sustainability, environmental stewardship, supply chain challenges and a mounting variety of crises, our society is committed to answering the call of community transformation with this same dedication to our shared ways of life, growth and community.

Stuart Renewal Society engages community members from every corner of our region: youth, seniors, underserved groups, working-age adults from every demographic, listening to their challenges and dreams. Our commitment to being in community and of community means that we have a detailed understanding of strengths, weaknesses and gaps in our support and resource networks.
